During our formative experience at the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia in Cinecittà, as part of my Master’s in Film and New Media, we participated in a practical exercise where we were divided into pairs and given a camera and a short script to film, with complete freedom to choose the approach and locations for shooting. My partner and I decided to work with a long continuous shot, which we filmed in one take — and fortunately, it went perfectly on the first try. I was responsible for directing and editing the project, a challenge that allowed me to apply and refine my skills in visual storytelling and decision-making under pressure during the shooting process.
